This atraumatic dressing consists of a highly water-retaining, superabsorbent core, a middle layer of hypoallergenic polypropylene, and an outer wound contact layer of polyethylene film with three-dimensional perforations. The Sana wound contact layer provides a protective barrier against the ingrowth of newly formed tissue.
